Mame32 V 0 87 Download Yahoo
GameEx is considered to be the most powerful and feature rich front-end for MAME, GameBase, Daphne, PC Games and all command line based game emulators, along with being a complete Home Theatre PC solution. Apr 13, 2011. Maharana Pratap Serial Episode 1 here. First off i wanted to state before asking the question about the neo Geo Games i did a search on Yahoo that came up with Nothing. I Played a o.k. Game of Zupa. If one Neo Geo game runs in one MAME version, they all will run in that version, assuming you have the right game ROMS. If you have a wrong.
This was a great program before the MameDev team turned into a bunch of goose stepping hypocrites and began ripping out functionality in the name of 'stopping piracy' or 'being pure'. No more high score save support, no more ability to view missing roms (because then everyone would want to go download them, omg!), etc. The nag screens were annoying enough but they are just getting ridiculous. Fortunately you can find third party versions or even compile your own to put back the features they decided we aren't allowed to have. MAMEXT32 for example restores hi score support and the ability to show missing roms.
I've been using MAME for a long, LONG time. Back in the 0.20-some builds. While it's great and dandy having access to all those games, it's almost as bad now as ATI's Catalyst drivers -- just bloated, buggy software. Sure, it plays thousands of arcade games, many of them perfectly. But what about the numerous games that have been bugged for months, or even years?
So many updates to MAME, yet a lot of the authors of its game drivers seem not to care about the games that still have problems. Take Mortal Kombat II as an example. Ever since the DCS driver changes -- in what, 0.84? -- MKII's volume gets tampered with after a reset to the point where you can hardly hear anything. Small bug, but annoying on such a classic arcade game. I believe one or both of the Killer Instincts are affected as well. Regardless, enough core changes.
Let's see some more game driver fixes. I realize MAME is free and nothing is garaunteed when it comes to emulators, but if you're going to create and maintain software, at least do is right. So many games have been emulated for years, yet are still plagued by MAME bugs to this day. It's a shame. A thumbs up for the effort, though. An example of a great arcade emulator would have to be WinKawaks.
Although on a much smaller scale in terms of emulated games to play (Capcom/NeoGeo, CPS1: 115, CPS2: 123, NG: 214), it pulls it off well and in most, if not all cases, better than MAME. This is a great emulator but there is one thing that would make it perfect, if we could get the companies to release packs of the roms for sale, preferably online, so that I could no only play the game but always have the copy that I can use with the various versions of mame, and enjoy the fact that I am legally playing the game. Just a suggestion in case any of those companies read these, I am not talking about the little packs like they bring out for the PS2 and other game systems, I am refering to a complete rom pack, and maybe even offer a subscription so when new games work on mame then those that subscribe could get the new game available to them legally. Thanks Cloverlief.
Source Changes -------------- Fixed crash in some games when using a low sample rate or -nosound. [Aaron Giles] Fixes crashes in the following drivers: [Aaron Giles] * Beat Head (video update) * Hit Me (graphics decode) * Imago (palette setup) * Legend of Kage bootlegs (accessing invalid CPU) * Rock Climber * Speed Attack (palette out of range) TumblePop driver updates: [David Haywood] * split driver into tumblep.c and tumbleb.c * tumblep.c runs the original tumble pop sets and use now using deco16ic.c for the gfx. * tumbleb.c runs the bootlegs and games which use hardware which works in a similar way to tumble pop (semicom titles etc.) Kludged around glitches in Monster World. [David Haywood] Cross Pang is now using the sprite draw copied from tumbleb.c instead as the game also seems to be based around Tumble Pop designs, as a result the 'Alpha Blend' bit has been removed and replaced with a flicker sprite bit like Tumble Pop which looks more correct to me. Also changed some default settings. [David Haywood] Corrected Indian Battle DIP switches. [ShimaPong] Updated D-Day DIP switches to use conditionals.
[James Wallace] More Namco sound/MCU updates: [R. Belmont] * Fixed analog controls for Ridge Racer and Rage Racer * Fixed sound/music to play in System 22 games * Fully share the sound part of the MCU RAM for System 11.
