Jeremy Robinson & Kane Gilmour - Omega Chess Team Adventure

Sep 25, 2013. Chess Team, Co-Authors, and the Wonderful World of Working with Jeremy Robinson. Fans enjoyed the novella, and when Jeremy asked me to work with him on RAGNAROK, a full-length Chess Team adventure, I was stunned and a lot. Our process for that book, and also for OMEGA, went like this.

Jeremy Robinson & Kane Gilmour - Omega Chess Team Adventure

Jack Sigler, call sign “King,” field leader for a black ops organization known as Endgame, is accustomed to feeling capable of handling most any situation. It is a confidence forged in the fires of battle against both monsters and madmen. But the introduction of Asya, a sister he never knew existed, and the kidnapping of his parents has him reeling. It is a confidence forged in the fires of battle against both monsters and madmen. But the introduction of Asya, a sister he never knew existed, and the kidnapping of his parents has him reeling. Using Endgame’s resources, King and his Chess Team (Queen, Rook, Bishop, and Knight) scour the planet for his parents, tracking a man known to the world as Alexander Diotrephes, but known to King by another name.

A masked man walks past their secret headquarters’ defenses, sits himself down in the director’s chair, and waits. He’s Richard Ridley, the team’s oldest and most dangerous enemy, who is supposed to be dead. But he isn’t Ridley.

He is a clone in search of his master, the real Ridley, who yet lives and is being held captive by the same man that is holding King’s parents. Omega is the epitome of what a good action/adventure novel should be. This is the Chess Team novel all the others have been leading to. It is done right! I've been reading a lot of Jeremy Robinson's books lately, especially all the Chess Teams. Once I started with Prime, I had to read them all.

Omega was worth the wait! An Epic end to an Epic storyline. An Epic end to an Epic storyline. I've loved every one of the previous novels, yes, some more than others, but they are altogether one big, fantastic story-like watching a TV series on Netflix from start to finish, and this is the 'series finale' that most shows never get. But it's not even the end!!!!! There's more books coming! This is good.

Read at least the previous 6 novels first, but if you want the full story, read em all with the novellas in the middle. Call Sign novellas:5a King book 1, 5b Queen, 5c Rook, 5d Bishop, 5e Knight, 5f King book 2: Underworld, 5g Deep Blue, 5h King book 3: Blackout (King books available as Brainstorm trilogy) 6.

Ezy Invoice 10 Keygen Download more. Omega That's a lot, I know. I was intimidated too. But so is watching 7 seasons of a TV.

Same thing almost. And after Omega, which you should DEFINITELY BUY when you are caught up, you will be left wanting more just like me. And that's not really a bad thing!

CAN IT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS??? FIVE EPHEMERAL STARS MR.

ROBINSON AND MR. I am utterly speechless having finished this book! It was amazing!!! You would never expect where it takes you (well, I certainly didn't), and I'm thrilled to hear that Jeremy Robinson will continue to write more Chess Team adventures, as this one really wrapped up the storylines of the previous books.

I've always loved Rook and his sense of humour, but this time around, Jack and Alexander win the comedy award; many of their scenes together reminiscent of a good buddy cop movie. I can honestly s I am utterly speechless having finished this book!

I can honestly say that this was the BEST Chess Team book so far - the only one to make me laugh, cry and have to remind myself to breathe. Awesome awesome work, Mr Robinson and Mr Gilmour - just awesome!!!!

(Originally read ) Re-read via audible - Even better listening to it, as it really brought the story and the characters to life! Okay, I am glad this storyline is finally over. I must be one of the few that really did not enjoy this 5th Chess team thriller. I have read the 1st four stories, plus Prime, and a few of the novellas. I think number four was over the top, but then I read Prime and it seemed things were almost back to normal (as normal can get for the Chess team), BUT.this was just one big goofy story. I already have on my Kindle, and I will wait until I read that one to see if I want to continue on.

“Omega” is not just an adrenaline rush, it’s a hypodermic surge straight to the heart. Richard Ridley is almost immortal due to having and understanding the Mother Tongue. If he can find and release the contents of the Chest of Adoon, there will be no stopping his maniacal destruction. Alexander (Hercules) is the son of Zeus. Born an immortal and living in the twenty-first century. Asya, call sign Pawn, King’s sister, accompanies him and the team to Ridley’s Omega laboratory in Carthage to free their parents from their captor, Hercules.

During a fight, Asya watches Hercules grab King and pull him into some sort of vortex, killing both of them. The rest of the team, under the leadership of Queen, must overcome the loss of their leader and try to fight and stop the unstoppable, Ridley.

While this is happening, King and Hercules are in Carthage, in a far different century, fighting a battle of the heart. King doesn’t know it, but he is about to write history.

The collaboration of Robinson and Gilmour results in a complex, character driven thriller with some Sci-Fi and fantasy thrown in. There are references to past Chess Team adventures and reading the others first might help a newbie, but it’s not necessary. “Omega” can stand on its own, just like the Colossus of Rhodes. I am a huge Chess Team fan and “Omega” tops them all! Reviewed by J.M.

Lots of action, amazing feats, and surprises keep you glued to the book. Chess Team is amazing. Jack is amazing! Truly Amazing!

I’m anxiously awaiting further Chess Team books that I heard were coming. Jeremy Robinson and Kane Gilmour did an excellent job writing this story. The continuity with the other stories is spot on. You must read this book. If it’s the first of Jeremy Robinson’s books you read, it will cause you to get the rest to read too. I say.go for it! I have so many things that I want to say but I can't because I don't want to spoil this amazing novel for anyone.

So no spoilers here. It's enough to say that this book takes the team, and a couple of characters in particular, to some very interesting and unexpected places. Adding to the fun, Omega takes what we know about the series so far— and some of the characters— and just turns all of that on its ear. Of course we get the requisite gun toting, ass-kicking that we expect from our favorite special-ops team, and a few things are revealed that threaten to make us look back at the earlier books in an entirely different way.
