Omnisphere Challenge Code Keygen Download Manager

Download servers being down is a bit of a bummer, but it happens to the biggest of them (look to EA, Ubisoft and Valve in the gaming sphere for recent screw-ups). At any rate, not the end of the world; crap, I still haven't gotten a complete handle on Omni 1, so I can wait a week, lol. What I AM bummed by is that they don't offer discs any more. Seems like everyone expects the world to have unlimited bandwidth/time for this type of crap.

I'm hoping that I'll be able to make a DMG file of the Omni 2 download, just so I don't have to download it again whenever I reinstall my OS. Synth sounds of OmniSphere have always been interesting but most of the size is probably due to samples I would never use. I just have no interest in movie scoring. The Diego Stocco sounds for example are cool. But I have no use for that stuff.

I wish.I feel the same, I own omnisphere 1 and was thinking of upgrading to omnisphere 2, but I think I'll pass on this one. Nevertheless I think you can have really interesting sounds very easily with omnisphere, I mean really unique textures you won't be able to replicate with any other synth and it can add a alot to your music. Omnisphere is great. Here are my experiences and BAD MOOD about spectrasonics. F*ck DRM again, yes when it works you dont need to stay online but this shows again how much the connection to the internet can ruin your experience instead of having software (mostly games) on cd without any drm **** (i know pirating blabla).

- my steps: 1. Downloaded from my account “Omnisphere 2 Upgrade” = 18.6 GB 2. Started Step1 (install Omnisphere Updates) 3. Started Step2 (STEAM Library v2) 4. Started my daw and loaded omnisphere 5. Got challenge code “working challenge code” 6. Followed the steps on spectrasonics site and received authorization code 'this worked too' 7.

Omnisphere said “complete” and had to replace the instance with a new one. Then it wanted again teh authorizatin procedure and gave me the strange symbol only 8.

Spectrasonics told me i have to run my DAW as an admin (sory this is bull****!) then i ran my daw as an admin (i never did this and it runs normal without having to do it also omnisphere1 in the past). Now the message pops up 10. I had a different STEAM.lnk in my c: programdata spectrasonics folder suddenly which didnt forwarded me to g: Spectrasonics STEAM AFTER i had run my DAW as an admin! To delete the new not working shortcut i had to run CMD as admin and delete the file as it didnt want to delete in win7 normal. So the running as admin MUST HAVE CHANGED something 11. And dead end.

Spectrasonics told me they try to fix it yesterday and today i got this message and thought WTF?!?!? ' We're sorry that your experience with the Omnisphere 2 Upgrade was not a smooth one. It's been our biggest response ever and unfortunately, our site has been completely overwhelmed with all the interest.

Were you ever able to successfully order and download? Please let us know if you still need assistance. Best Regards,' ---- again, yes something MIGHT be expected, slow servers, impatient people etc.

But what do you expect? They hype us like that, we musicfreaks expect the 30th april even some like me took few hours off for this event and had couple of beer standing in front of the table and making omnisphere2 launch party, spectrasonics wrote to me 'we think we are prepared ' and sure you are hyped and happy. So everyone saying else and making jokes about us should reconsider his thoughts really. BAD and FAILED Launch, sure omnisphere 2 will be great, no doubt at all! But i cant even use omnisphere1 now as the authorization ****s me up!!!!!!!!!! And now we have to wait till next week it seems. So everyone who couldnt download Omnisphere 2, maybe you are lucky as you COULD run into the authorization error too and wouldnt be able to use omnisphere 1 atm!!!!

Will be overwhelmed when 2,000 people try downloading a 50 gig file all at the same time. What's the big deal? Hipath Opticlient Attendant Download there. It's like saying Christmas is on the 25th and on the morning of the 25th there are no presents because Santa was too fat to fit down the chimney.

Obviously everyone knows Santa is too rotund to effect a timely delivery on the promised morning, but the kids want to believe so bad that they are inevitably dissapointed. And Santa didn't want to dissapoint the kids so he said no worries the 25th is as good as gold. The elves knew the truth but they didn't want to dissapoint Santa so they let Santa believe what even Santa didn't believe to tell the kids what they didn't even believe.

We later learn that some kid almost got his presents but Santa broke his leg falling off the roof and will be in the hospital for at least a week. ...from an 'all honesty' stance, you could probably die of old age before you exhausted all the possibilities of Serum... Nord/virus they're nice but sonically on par with most software, so if you don't have a burning need for a box, I'd skip those too. I have a burning desire for a box... But not to the extent of it being sonically on par as something I could do itb, it just seems so pointless if thats the case. QUOTE=zerocrossing;11013625] 'Do I want a room full of hardware?

Or any hardware at all?' I've long decided that hardware and software are equal in terms of sound quality in 95% of day to day use. I'd back away from any hardware until you can find a sound in some demo that you can't get in Serum and Omnisphere, and go from there. [/QUOTE] Thanks for the question. In the end I know I want a hybrid set up, a room with a lot least 1-2 racks of hardware, I/O, efx, maybe a modular, and at least one nice key'd synth. Seems like DSI than is the only option.

To be honest the only instrument demo I have come across that has ever made my jaw drop was the DSI tempest, but after some research it wouldn't be a good 1st synth as its doing its hybrid thang. Hope omnisphere dl/install/cds? Goes smoothly for ya, bests wishes thanks for the perspective. I bought what i thought was omnisphere2 from juno on thursday got it today and they've sent me omnisphere 1.

I told them and they said sorry for the confusion they've sent me ver 1 but i can upgrade to 2 online for free. Now i keep reading that the grace period runs till may. Does that mean because i bought it on the 30th april i can upgrade for free or i can't because i will be trying to up grade in may? ( when they get their server back on line ). So i guess my question is dose anyone know when the grace period run out for sure? Lots of websites selling omnisphere say until may.

At first it seemed like the demos either sounded pretty bad, or good. But just like the Prophet 08 (which is a good thing IMO). Here's what I figured out. The waveforms are a bit shrill.

If you expect a warm nice sound with the open filters, you're S.O.O.L. However, once you 'learn' the filter response and how it reacts with EG/Keyboard amount, you'll discover that you can make them sound quite warm and lush.

It's not as hard as it sounds, it took me a few hours of really messing with it. Here is a playlist that has many I really like, especially the ones by Elberstein. YMMV, of course. However, I don't know what your price range is, but if you've heard the Prophet 6 demos, well, I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who didn't think they sounded good. It's about the same amount as the 12. I've actually entertained the idea of ditching the Prophet 12 (already) for the 6 because it just sounds so gorgeous and hybrid sounds are easier to extract from software. My guess is that I bet I'd get pretty close to the Prophet 12 in Omnisphere 2, but if you don't have it yet, it'll set you back $500 or so.

Not sure what else will get you close if you want that sound. Now the Prophet 6, well I think that degree of pure analog yumminess is not found in software at any price. Others to consider: Anything by Modal. Holy crap they sound lush and warm. Be prepared to empty your bank account though.

John Bowen's Solaris. Monster synth. Sounds great, but I must admit I did have a bit of a problem picking it out blind in a playlist full of software wavetable synths. It's only four voices, but the Analog Four sounds great to me.

I'm a total sucker for modulatable effects. For mono synths, the Studio Electronics instruments are IMO, the best on the market today for the money. However, a poly is very expensive.

The Boomstars are pretty affordable and sound great to me. [edit] Oh wait! I forgot to mention the KingKORG. Shockingly good sound and can be had for $800 new. Not the best UI in the world and I've got other issues with it, but considering bang for buck, you'll do no better. The truth is, software has gotten very, very good and from my vantage point it really has become about buying 'character' vs.

If you're looking for jaw dropping. Well I think we're pretty inundated with great sounding instruments. I can point out some good demos for you that made me take notice of the Prophet 12.

Seems just slightly different workflow / parameter optimization. That soundcloud link does sound really good. I have been lookin at the Analog four but the sequencer isn't really something I need now, idk how much I like menu diving. I'm even thinkin of selling my push cause the mouse is so much faster for deeper capabilities.

Boomstars are cool. I haven't heard of Solaris ill check it out. Indeed I believe your right about the character vs quality. Why have a box that can do the same thing in software.. Guess it comes down to workflow. I bought what i thought was omnisphere2 from juno on thursday got it today and they've sent me omnisphere 1.

Well I think we're pretty inundated with great sounding instruments. My goal is to have both the P12 and the P6 by the end of this year.BUT again, software is sounding so freaking good, that I don't know for sure anymore. Hey, if you get some P12-like results from Omni 2, I would REALLY like to hear them. If I had your mad-programing skills, I'd go for it myself.

I'm loving Omni 2 so far, but for the type of sounds I was looking for, I was a bit underwhelmed by the new presets unfortunately.still a few gems in there that I will most certainly be using, but just not as many as I had hoped. Time to start dedicating more of my time to sound design/creation! The Omni 2 upgrade was worth every penny though, and I am salivating at all the incredible 3rd-party libraries that will surely be coming soon with all the new features and the sample import.

Just to throw in a positive experience. I was able to download and install my pre-ordered Om2 in about an hour and half last night. It was very easy to go on to Spectrasonics site and login to my user account, add a new product using the serial number I received in the pre-order, and download the Mac 'download manager' utility. From there.I was off the Internet (website) working directly through the download manager.which expeditiously downloaded the large update. Once it was on my local machine, the actual installation took no more than 10 minutes.no surprises or issues. And the challenge/response registration went off without a hitch in about 3 min flat. That was last night about 6PM to 8PM PST, which I would think to be prime-time on the first day of release (just after many folks get home from work on the west coast USA, where Spectrasonics is located in Los Angeles).

Now.the software is spectacular.so deep that I won't even try to review it or comment further at this time. Far too much for me to explore over this weekend. I will report back however. All thumbs up from my experience to the Spectrasonics crew.from a guy who jumped right into the mix on the first day of release, and did the whole process without a hitch. My goal is to have both the P12 and the P6 by the end of this year.BUT again, software is sounding so freaking good, that I don't know for sure anymore.

I think it comes down to 'bang for buck' always. I'm definitely finding a niche that the Prophet 12 fills. Now, I know there is nothing, including Omnisphere 2, that will replace it 1:1, that's impossible. Well unless someone does a very true emulation of it, and with even that I wonder the legalities of using the identical waveforms. Think of it like identical twins. I used to be really good friends with two identical twin girls growing up.

(my first kiss actually!) Anyway, I totally remember meeting them in a playground and thinking, 'Holy crap, it's impossible to tell them apart!' By the end of a few weeks I remember thinking, 'Can't everyone see how incredibly different they are?' Now, for some, who want Jane (names changed to protect the innocent), Blane will not do. Too timid and sweet compared to Jane. But, many would say, 'They're both cute! I'll take either!' Of course, some want both.
