GeoLearn has established a relationship with Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi to provide formal Professional Development Hour (PDH) approval for its online courses. A comprehensive review program has been developed to evaluate the course content, to validate the course learning objectives and to assess the qualifications of the instructor. The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in GIS is designed for students who hold a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in fields other than GIS or Geographic Information Science and desire to continue their education in Geographic Information Science. Candidates for the certificate are required to complete 32 credit hours of surveying related courses; 20 of these credit hours must be taken at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
