I had a 4800 (essentially the same machine) and needed the remote to perform the setup. If you have a learning remote, then maybe you could take it to a Denon dealer and have a couple buttons to learn the proper codes to access the setup by using one of their remotes to program it.

I did this when my setup button on my remote stopped working. I just took a couple buttons that weren't being used and re learned them for the set up buttons from a remote from a dealer (pretty sure current Denon's still use the same codes). Another alternative is to get a Harmony remote and programming it by the computer to your Denon as it will give you pretty much full functionality of the original remote. I did this with mine before I sold the Denon.

Thanks guys, Yeah, I actually have two other Denon remotes, the RC-977 and the RC-974. Most of the functions work perfectly. I just cannot get into setup. Those remotes work perfectly with other Denons, the 1705 and the 2805. It almost seems like there's something wrong with the 4802 in that I can't get into setup. Is the only way to check that to actually find/buy the RC8000 stock remote??

Specifically, I need to set up the speakers (large/small), turn on the sub output, etc. Originally Posted by 26kick Thanks guys, Yeah, I actually have two other Denon remotes, the RC-977 and the RC-974. Specifically, I need to set up the speakers (large/small), turn on the sub output, etc. The AVR2805 remote should be able to control the setup function of the AVR4802. I would confirm the remotes working status by taking them into a Denon dealer and see if they are functioning with their receivers in stock.

Do you have a Magnolia/Best Buy near you? If the remotes are functioning then I would lean towards something in your receiver, but that seems pretty odd if all the other functions are working with the remotes. Okay, got it.

I just got off the phone with Denon and thought slightly impatient, they were extremely helpful. It was my mistake in that I assumed the 4802 displayed the setup on its front panel, like my 2805.

Instead, it only outputs it to the on screen display. Indian Army Theme Song Jeena To Aise Jeena Mp3. Once I hooked that up, voila, I was able to set it up.

Its slightly different though in that my 2805 clicks relays and such that the 4802 wasn't doing, so I didn't have a clue that it actually was in setup mode. Thanks for your attention all! Mugen Jason Voorhees Download Free here. That's definitely a must with the 4800 series.
