The charger stays hot durring this maintenance period as well which leads me to believe it will always be hot when plugged in and connected to the batteries. Is this normal? I've read some posts where people claim their chargers hardly get warm. I'm a bit nervous about leaving this thing on indefinetly next to the gas tank. Just wanted to get some feedback before I drill holes and mount it permanently to the boat.
